Who is PurEstate?

Brandon, founder of PurEstate, is building-science professional and owner of a successful insulation company in Middle Tennessee. PurEstate didn’t start as a business idea, it has come about from necessity.

Brandon and his family experienced something very common here. They bought a home that show “fungal or microbial growth” in the crawl space. Like many homeowners, they trusted recommendations, hired contractors, and ignorantly assumed the work would solve the problem. It didn’t. Instead, the crawl space was “treated”. Months later Brandon’s wife became seriously ill, and their lives were permanently changed. After years of searching a functional medicine doctor pointed a direction back at the home and mold as a source. Further testing showed this was an issue. What had been “treated” was still there and more potent. They felt frustrated, misled, unsafe in their own home, and unsure where to turn.

Already working in the trades, Brandon began to see a troubling pattern: well-intentioned homeowners being failed by surface-level fixes, poor moisture management, and remediation approaches that ignored how mold actually impacts sensitive individuals. He watched his wife questioned if not outright accused of being crazy. Determined to find a better way, he pursued extensive education, certifications, and hands-on training to understand mold and mold removal.

Pure Estate exists to serve people who feel lost and unheard. We specialize in medically important remediation, combining deep building-envelope expertise, moisture control, and health-first protocols to properly address mold in homes, especially for those who are susceptible and need a higher standard of care. Our mission is simple: do the work the right way, take no shortcuts, protect families, and restore confidence in the place that should feel safest.

Brandon also understands that sometimes proper remediation is not enough to erase the years of pain and trauma from a home that was actively harming your or your loved ones. That’s why he pursued his general contracting license and completed courses on building mold safe homes from the ground up. Building homes has become too commoditized.
